Fort Dodge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Waterloo East Trojans. Considering the Dodgers have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Fort Dodge's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Waterloo East, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
