Severance was led to victory by Zeke Wawrzyniak and Gabe Schneekloth. Wawrzyniak had nine digs and two aces, while Schneekloth hit 66.7% for five kills and six aces and four digs. Schneekloth is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 18 or more in each of the last 14 games he's played.
They weren't the only good server: Severance was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.
Severance's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Alameda, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
