After a string of four wins, The St. Joseph Flyers''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 28-21 to St. Michael's. St. Michael's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. St. Joseph's QB won't forget Ben Brophy anytime soon given Brophy sacked him eight times.
St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for St. Michael's, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will face off against Hyde Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Michael's, they will head out on the road to face off against Regents at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Regents knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully St. Michael's likes a good challenge.
