Meanwhile, Mitchell entered their matchup against Washington on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Kernels came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0.

Brandon Valley's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Mitchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
