The Columbus Titans were the 58-35 winner over the Field Kindley Golden Tornado when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Columbus fell 45-34 to Field Kindley on Monday. Columbus has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Columbus still got an impressive performance from Katy Mooney, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Major, who scored five points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Columbus now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Field Kindley, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Columbus won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Girard at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Field Kindley, they will be playing at home against Independence on Friday. Field Kindley is coming into the matchup with three straight wins at home, meaning Independence will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
