Lincoln extended the longest winning streak in PSAL City this week by beating New Utrecht, 26-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Midwood moved up to 347 from 467 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Hornets climbed the ranks as a result of besting Truman 32-14.
Lincoln's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Javon Moore threw for 206 and 2 touchdowns and Malik Andrews had 108 yards receiving. On the ground Antoine Holloman Jr. contributed 105 yards. Holloman Jr. helped Lincoln's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 48 yards.
He went 15-24 with 1 interception.
Andrews was the best wideout in the league this week as Shawn OConnor's team bested the Utes. Andrews racked up 8 receptions for 108 yards. Holloman Jr. helped Lincoln's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 48 yards.
Lincoln's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Railsplitters feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Moore has thrown for 766 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Andrews has 22 catches for 416 yards.
An important game coming up in PSAL City this week will be when Erasmus Hall takes on Fort Hamilton. At the moment, the Dutchmen are in third, while the Tigers are in second.
Port Richmond was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from 17th to 11th in the league. The Red Raiders beat Jefferson 26-6 earlier in the week.
