If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Kingsman Academy. It's a road trip for them on Friday as they take on Brunswick at 7:00 PM. Kingsman Academy don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
After a big victory against Paul Public Charter International two weeks ago, Kingsman Academy came back down to earth. Kingsman Academy took a 24-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodson. Kingsman Academy's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
As for Brunswick, Brunswick had a rough outing against Boonsboro, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Last Friday, Brunswick came out on top in a nail-biter against Frederick, sneaking past 24-21.
Brunswick's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Kingsman Academy's loss dropped them down to 4-1. We'll see if Brunswick's success rolls on or if Kingsman Academy are able to steal their positive momentum.
