This season hasn't been kind to the Buford Yellowjackets, who are still winless after their 16th matchup. They fell 60-51 to York Prep on Thursday. Buford has struggled against York Prep recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aaron Morris, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Williams, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Buford's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-16. As for York Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buford will face off against North Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Buford likes a good challenge. As for York Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Monday.
