Hilbert is 0-3 against Mishicot since April of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Indians at 5:00 p.m. The last three games Hilbert has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Tuesday, Hilbert narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Oostburg 6-4. That's two games straight that the Wolves have won by exactly two runs.

The team relied heavily on Kaylie Hernke, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Schnurer, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Mishicot made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hilbert last Tuesday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Wolves. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.
Kaelin Adair was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sydney Bohman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Mishicot kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.2.
Mishicot's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Hilbert, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Hilbert might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Mishicot when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
