Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, Miami Valley couldn't push the score so high this time.
Maumee Valley Country Day was led to victory by Amani-Jordan Chandran-Dickerson and Christian Majors. Chandran-Dickerson scored 26 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals, while Majors scored 26 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Chandran-Dickerson has scored at least 25% of Maumee Valley Country Day's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keeran Stokes, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Miami Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Maumee Valley Country Day, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Valley will take on Lehman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maumee Valley Country Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln-King Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
