Adena had won six straight road games and Kimmy Dalton did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Warriors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Unioto Shermans, sneaking past 3-2 thanks in part to Dalton, who had 22 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Adena wouldn't go down easily and took Unioto into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-10.
Several Shermans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Libby Anderson, who had 13 digs.
