The Tippecanoe Red Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Greenville on the road to the tune of 81-20. Tippecanoe has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.
Greenville's loss came despite strong showings from Jack Chick and Carson Good. Chick scored six points, while Good scored no points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Greenville struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They are winless (0-3) when they just don't pass the ball.
The win (which was Tippecanoe's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. As for Greenville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tippecanoe will take on Troy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 548th, while Tippecanoe is ranked 172nd). As for Greenville, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Butler at 7:15 p.m. on January 16th.
