Saint Andrew hadn't done well against Benjamin recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Scots blew past the Buccaneers 11-1. The Scots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Saint Andrew's got a great performance from Emery Coleman as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts Coleman has posted since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Luccas Mendez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Berman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Saint Andrew's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Benjamin only posted an OBP of .238.

The win made it two in a row for Saint Andrew's and bumps their season record up to 14-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Benjamin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Andrew's will host Spanish River at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benjamin, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Royal Palm Beach at 6:30 p.m.
