Dickinson is 0-4 against St. Elizabeth since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Dickinson Rams will head out on the road to face off against the St. Elizabeth Vikings at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Dickinson is ranked 42nd, while St. Elizabeth is ranked 33rd).
Last Friday, Dickinson came up short against Glasgow and fell 25-14. Dickinson has not had much luck with Glasgow recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Meanwhile, while St. Elizabeth put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for DuPont. St. Elizabeth breezed by DuPont on the road to the tune of 51-0. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for St. Elizabeth's six-point performance the game before.
Among those leading the charge was Nehemiah Hamilton, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to St. Elizabeth's defense and their four sacks. Lucas Reyburn was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
Dickinson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. Elizabeth, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Dickinson was dealt a bruising 41-0 loss at the hands of St. Elizabeth when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Dickinson, Quasim Benson (who rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
