Wetumpka won the last time they faced Smiths Station and things went their way on Friday too. The Wetumpka Indians blew past the Smiths Station Panthers 8-1.

Alyssa Brown was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kyla Richardson, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-2.

Wetumpka now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Smiths Station, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
