The York Prep Patriots can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Buford with a sharp 48-24 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as York Prep also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leading York Prep to victory were Payton Munsey and Gracie Robinson. Munsey dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Robinson dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Munsey has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played.
The win got York Prep back to even at 11-11. As for Buford, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
York Prep will take on Central at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday. Buford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
