The North Star Huskies lost against the Cascade Ramblers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. North Star suffered a tough 64-38 loss at the hands of Cascade. North Star was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-18.
Despite the loss, North Star still got an impressive performance from Blake Hansen, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Hansen scored a full 50% of North Star's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jackson McReynolds was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
This is the second loss in a row for North Star and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Cascade, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
North Star will head out on the road to face off against Vision at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cascade, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hansen at 6:30 p.m.
