The Linden Tigers lost against the Kennedy Knights back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Linden fell 46-37 to Kennedy. Linden has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for My'Shayla Clancy, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 rebounds for Kennedy. The game was Clancy's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zahniya Castillo , who scored nine points along with ten rebounds.
Linden now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kennedy, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
Linden will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024. As for Kennedy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Nutley at 11:50 a.m. on December 28th.
