The Clinton Dragons will face off against the Unicoi County Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Clinton barely beat Union County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dragons' pitcher stepped up to hand the Patriots a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.
The result came thanks to McKenna Gavin's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
