The Lighthouse College Prep Academy Lions and the Bowman Academy Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Lighthouse College Prep Academy Lions had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 66-16 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The loss means Lighthouse College Prep Academy is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
Kahlen Robinson was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with six steals for Bowman Academy. Robinson is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaila Hopkins, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Lighthouse College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bowman Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
Lighthouse College Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bowman Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Illiana Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.
