It was a good run, but  Florence unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-match winning streak on Wednesday. They lost  3-0 to the Valley Christian Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on October 14th.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16,  25-20.
 Valley Christian found their leader in freshman  Kaydence Hirsch, who  had 12  digs and three  aces. Those 12  digs set a new season-high mark for  Hirsch.  Peyton Berry also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 27-11. As for Valley Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-10 record  this season.
As of now, neither Florence nor Valley Christian have any future games scheduled.
