M.L. King was the  78-55 winner over Creekside when they last played one another  back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The M.L. King Lions fell to the Creekside Seminoles  57-53. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Creekside found their leader in sophomore  Daylen Jones, who  went 8 for 17  en route to 24 points.  Amari Estis also deserves some recognition as  he  grabbed his first  steal of the season.
M.L. King's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Creekside,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-13.
 M.L. King has already played their next match,  a  74-49  defeat against Midtown on the 17th. As for Creekside, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  an  88-23  loss against Jackson on the 17th.
