Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, Va.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 21 points, drop to seven before the final whistle blew on a 21-14 victory over
Hylton (Woodbridge, Va.).
The Dolphins were up 21-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run in the second quarter.
Ocean Lakes saw its 21-point halftime lead fall to 14 entering the fourth.
The loss snapped the Bulldogs' 4-game winning streak.
Led by
Jason Lewis, OL went into the matchup giving up only 7.9 points per game. The 14 points that Hylton ended with were well below its average of 29.5 coming into the game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Hylton, which notched a 23-13 victory over Colonial Forge in its previous outing.
