Trevor Rascher posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Clifton is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-10 otherwise.

Rascher's strong effort led Clifton over Eastside and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ghosts are limping into the matchup having lost three straight at home. There's no doubt they're looking for a change of fortune, but will Rascher and the Mustangs have enough to stop it?
