Bralan J Womack Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Hartfield Academy's Bralan J Womack, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday J Womack made five total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
With the loss, Hartfield Academy broke their 21-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1. J Womack and Hartfield Academy will challenge Jackson Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Ellis As Jackson Academy Won 38-13
Jackson Academy picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Omarean Ellis. Ellis was unstoppable, rushing for 225 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
If the past is any indication, Ellis could be in store for another big game when he takes on Madison-Ridgeland Academy on Friday. When Ellis last faced the Patriots back in October of 2023, he rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns.

Jackson Prep picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Major Quin. Quin turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 142 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 93 yards.
Jackson Prep's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Quin and Jackson Prep will venture away from home to challenge Hartfield Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

St. Joseph Catholic's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Syrone Mcbeath
Thanks in part to Syrone Mcbeath, St. Joseph Catholic said goodbye to their four-game losing streak. Mcbeath was dynamite on Friday, picking up 33 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
