Arizona Cultural Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Arizona Cultural Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over New Way Learning Academy, taking the game 53-41.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arizona Cultural Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mahdy Abdeljaber, who scored 17 points. Abdeljaber is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Salmaan Hashim was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Tri-City Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Imagine Prep Coolidge 57-22 at home. Tri-City Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
Arizona Cultural Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Tri-City Christian Academy, their victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
