Trey Bauer Delivers Best Performance of Season
Horseshoe Bend came up short on Friday despite Trey Bauer delivering his best game to date. Bauer rushed for 251 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.

Maxon Yearsley posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He picked up 183 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 92 yards.
This season, Yearsley has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 91 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 15.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 52.33 rushing yards.

Council Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Owen Hatfield
Council picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Owen Hatfield. Hatfield's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 183 rushing yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made seven total tackles.
For the season, Hatfield has averaged 202.9 rushing yards per game.

Another Game with at Least 168 Rushing Yards from Jace Waggoner
Jace Waggoner's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 168+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 118 yards on only six passes.
Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Waggoner and Tri-Valley will take on Horseshoe Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Cole Olson of Cascade. Olson rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 51 yards.
On the year, Olson has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 34.8 receiving yards per game.
