CAMERON PARK, Calif. - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America and MaxPreps.com, the online high school sports leader and a CBSSports.com site, have entered into a partnership that will provide expanded reach for NSCAA content and deeper high school soccer data for MaxPreps.com users.
Under the terms of the agreement, MaxPreps.com will help promote NSCAA high school initiatives for all three soccer seasons through its national platform reaching a vast network of coaches, athletic directors and high school soccer programs.
The venerable Kansas City-based NSCAA, soccer's only national coaches association and the singular voice of the sport among coaches in the United States, will help MaxPreps.com expand its prep soccer coverage and aid in the growth of high school coach participation in the company's stat accumulation and data management programs.
"As ‘America’s Source for High School Sports,’ we are excited to partner with the NSCAA,” said MaxPreps.com President and Founder Andy Beal. “With nearly 800,000 student athletes competing, soccer is a vibrant part of the high school sports landscape. Our partnership will enable us to do a better job celebrating the work of soccer coaches and athletes.”
“The NSCAA continues to support the high school game, as it plays such an integral role in the development of players across the country,” said NSCAA CEO Joe Cummings. “This partnership with MaxPreps.com will provide our coaches with additional recognition on a leading online platform and introduce more high school coaches to resources specific to their needs.”
MaxPreps.com similarly partners with two other prominent national coaches associations: the American Volleyball Coaches Association and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
