East Allegheny has not had much luck with Quaker Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Zach Washington continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Quaker Valley, going 8 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 34 points and 2 assists. The matchup was Washington's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joey Coyle, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 assists.
East Allegheny bumped their record down to 2-7 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Quaker Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Allegheny's road trip will continue as they head out to face Montour at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for Quaker Valley, they will square off against West Mifflin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Mifflin's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games.
