Hickman County's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Fulton County. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
Grayson Clark tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Witt Carter was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Hickman County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyiahez Irons, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Bradford had taken Union City down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Red Devils came up short against the Golden Tornadoes, falling 10-3. The Red Devils have struggled against the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Dylan Brauer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Hickman County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
Thursday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Hickman County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .444. However, it's not like Bradford struggles in that department as they've averaged .436. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
