Reed hasn't had much luck against Bishop Manogue recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raiders will challenge the Miners at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Thursday, Reed got the win against Douglas by a conclusive 49-28. Considering the Raiders have won three contests by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bronwyn Rios

| 10/24/25 @ Damonte Ranch | 2 |
| 10/17/25 vs Bishop Manogue | 3 |
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Reed to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bronwyn Rios, who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns. Rios is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jayden Purdum also helped with two TDs in total.
Reed didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Douglas to a completion percentage of just 35%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Shaysan Rivero and Josh Guerra, who each logged one passes deflected. Reed wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 60%.
Reed didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Guerra and Raymond Maveni. Maveni got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Manogue). They breezed past Damonte Ranch to the tune of 59-14 on Thursday. The Miners have beaten the Mustangs the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.
Reed better keep an eye on Brandon Mann. He was instrumental in Bishop Manogue's win, throwing for 224 yards and four touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns Mann has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Demari Stacker, who picked up 89 receiving yards and one score.
Reed's record is now 6-3. As for Bishop Manogue, their record now sits at 6-4.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Reed has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 198.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bishop Manogue struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 178.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Reed came up short against Bishop Manogue when the teams last played back in October, falling 52-48. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
