Lewis Made His Presence Known in Ontario Christian's 27-13 Victory
Starting off the list is Ontario Christian's Zander Lewis, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lewis rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Ontario Christian is 5-1 when Lewis posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
Lewis is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Valley Christian on Friday. When Lewis last faced the Defenders back in October of 2023, he rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Champ Brown Delivers Best Performance of Season
Champ Brown produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Aquinas to the win on Friday. Brown rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.9). Those 185 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
The victory was the seventh in a row for Aquinas, bringing their record for this year to 7-2. Brown and Aquinas are taking a road trip to square off against Village Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Valley Christian Gets a Boost from Abrahams in 35-18 Victory
Austin Abrahams put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 95 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Valley Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Abrahams' next game is against Ontario Christian on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Capistrano Valley Christian was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Max Krosky did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Krosky as he picked up 81 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Krosky and Capistrano Valley Christian are taking a road trip to face off against Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Krosky will face off against Josiah Allen, the Warriors' star wideout. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jusyis Solis Turns in Season-Best Performance
Aquinas was led to victory by Jusyis Solis, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Solis rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Solis will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Village Christian on Friday. The last time Solis took on the Crusaders, he rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
