Austin had won six straight  games  and  Autumn Cassidy did her part to make it seven on Thursday. Everything went the Black Bears' way against the Decatur Red Raiders as they made off with  a  37-14 win thanks in part to  Cassidy, who threw for 110 yards and three  touchdowns, and also rushed for 74 yards and one  score on only ten carries. Cassidy is  crushing it when it comes to  passing touchdowns: she's   passed for at least three every time she's  taken the field this season.
 Austin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Jazlyn Hullett,  Tyeisha Hodges,  and  Kensile Phiilips picked up one apiece. Hodges got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Austin's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Decatur, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 2-1.
 Looking ahead, Austin will square off against Lee at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
