The Marist War Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 73-59 win over Dunwoody. Winning may never get old, but Marist sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
It was another big night for Luke Harpring, who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Davis Ledford, who scored 15 points.
Marist is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Dunwoody, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Marist will take on the Golden Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Pius X Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the War Eagles in Georgia (the Golden Lions are ranked 31st, while the War Eagles are ranked 96th). As for Dunwoody, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
