Anthony May Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, University got the W thanks in part to Anthony May playing the best football he has all season. May rushed for 238 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win was the fourth in a row for University, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. May and University will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Spruce Creek at 7:00 p.m. on November 7th.

Taihj Moore continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least 167 rushing yards. He is becoming a predictor of DeLand's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Cronk will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Matanzas on Friday.
