 In other batting news,  Makenah Jefferson was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  triples, three  runs,  and four  RBI.  Taliyah Thomas was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Cleveland Central has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-8-1 record  this season. As for Yazoo City, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
