It was a good run, but the School of the Ozarks Patriots unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. Their tough 59-37 defeat to Chadwick might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, School of the Ozarks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Chadwick is ranked 110th).
School of the Ozarks' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lily Todd, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals, and Holland Houston who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Todd is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
School of the Ozarks' loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5. As for Chadwick, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
School of the Ozarks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-36 defeat vs. Classical on the 10th. Chadwick has also already played their next match, a 48-37 loss against Walnut Grove on the 7th.
