It was a good run, but Warsaw unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Elkhart Lions by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hunter Dippon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Stapleton, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Warsaw's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Elkhart, they moved to 11-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
