The Randle Lions and the Huntsville Hornets squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Randle Lions had to settle for second. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Hornets. Randle's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Randle still got an impressive performance from Landen Callis-Williams, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown.
Randle's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Huntsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Randle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Huntsville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Port Neches-Groves at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Port Neches-Groves' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
