The A.L. Brown Wonders put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Central Academy, posting a 67-23 victory at home. The result was nothing new for A.L. Brown, who have now won four games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Sadie Faulkner was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Robinson, who scored 9 points.
A.L. Brown's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Central Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
A.L. Brown will head out on the road to face off against Purnell Swett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Purnell Swett will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 268th, while A.L. Brown is ranked 95th). As for Central Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Pine Lake Prep at 6:00 p.m.
