The Collinsville Kahoks stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Lift for Life Academy 76-44 on the road. Given Collinsville's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked seventh in Illinois, while Lift for Life Academy is ranked 297th in Missouri), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Collinsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamorie Wysinger, who scored 22 points. Nick Horras was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Collinsville and bumps their season record up to 20-2. As for Lift for Life Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
Collinsville's road trip will continue as they head out to face McCluer at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Lift for Life Academy, they will square off against Belleville West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Belleville West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday.
