Thornwell never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Great Falls Red Devils as they made off with a 19-0 win. Considering the Saints have won eight matches by more than 14 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Camden Nelson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. Nelson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Adrienne Anderson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Porter, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Thornwell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
