The El Dorado Wolverines stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 70-32 victory over Ridgeview College Prep. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win El Dorado has posted since December 6, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead El Dorado to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chris Zaragoza, who scored 21 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Zaragoza is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Christian Young was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with seven steals.
El Dorado is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Ridgeview College Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.
El Dorado's road trip will continue as they head out to face Canyon State Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Canyon State Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Ridgeview College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sequoia Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
