Nease extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 6-1. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ponte Vedra Sharks, sneaking past 69-66. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since January 14th.

As for Ponte Vedra, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. Sharks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Nease since Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Ponte Vedra lost, don't look at Maddox Palmer. Despite the final result, he went 14-for-30 to rack up 40 points and six rebounds. The game was Palmer's ninth in a row with at least 18 points. Jordan Montague was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.

Looking ahead, Nease will take on University Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ponte Vedra, they will challenge Beachside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Sharks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
