Sandia took down La Cueva 35-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Eldorado made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,639 from 3,232. The improvement was the result of a 34-14 victory over Manzano last week.
The Monarchs' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Angel Gonzales threw for 124 and 1 touchdown and Enrique Salas had 58 yards receiving. On the ground Corey Morrow contributed 113 yards. Josh Alvarez helped Manzano's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 27 yards.

6-foot-6 quarterback Zach Gentry of Eldorado is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,587. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Charles Countee. The Manzano star has 39 catches for 491 yards.
The Matadors led 5A District 2 in scoring this week by notching 35 points on the Bears.
