River Valley took down Natomas 65-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Devin Cates threw for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
Pioneer made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,235 from 10,578. The improvement was the result of a 49-8 victory over the Patriots last week.
C. J. Spencer threw for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns.
TJ Dove was a passing and rushing force as the Falcons beat the Nighthawks. Dove's favorite target this week was Sam VanDusen, who caught 2 passes for 59 yards.
Khalil Hudson was the best receiver in Tri-County Conference this week as Inderkum topped Woodland. Hudson tallied 3 receptions for 85 yards. Terrence White helped Inderkum's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 34 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Hudson. The Inderkum star has 21 catches for 452 yards.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Yuba City and the Wolves face off next week. Isaac Lessard has thrown for 880 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Rafael Garcia has terrorized opposing QBs to the tune of 3.5 sacks.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when River Valley takes on the Tigers. Bill Sherman's team is currently in second, while Inderkum is in third.
