Oak Mountain waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Corner Yellow Jackets get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 7-4 victory on Saturday.

Maddie Prevallet looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Oak Mountain's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Addison Green, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Oak Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corner only posted a batting average of .125.

Oak Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Corner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17-1 record this season.

Oak Mountain will head out to take on Vestavia Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corner, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Center Point at 5:00 p.m.
