Brother Rice waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Stagg Chargers. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Zach Mikrut and John Mikrut, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Oliver McNichols and his 22 assists. Paul Baker controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brother Rice's record is now 24-5. As for Stagg, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-8.

Brother Rice has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hinsdale South on the 10th. As for Stagg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Downers Grove North on the 10th.
