After a string of four wins, Johnsburg's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plano Reapers. The Skyhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Reapers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Leading Plano to victory were Chloe Rowe and Josie Larson. Rowe dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards, while Larson dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most points Rowe has posted since back in January.

Johnsburg's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Plano, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Johnsburg will be taking part in a tournament against Genoa-Kingston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Plano, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 56-42 victory against Woodstock on the 17th.
