With a playoff win on the line, Neshannock rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Leechburg Blue Devils 49-14. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won six contests by 27 points or more so far this season.
Jino Mozzocio produced another solid performance rushing for 43 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 132 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Ethan Beaman got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Beaman, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Neshannock didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Justin Edworthy and Anthony Eakin. Edworthy got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Neshannock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 36-9 defeat against Fort Cherry on the 7th. Leechburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
